Bullying

I recently watched a movie called Cyberbully. I started watching it thinking oh whatever, it's just a bunch of adolescent teens whining about nothing. But after watching it, it really hit me how serious bullying is. 

I will admit, I used to think that bullying was the dumbest thing ever. People should just ignore each other and not care what others think. I thought this for the longest time, until I went through it. Words really do hurt. I used to be called a whore and a slut. For a while I ignored it, but it's hard to ignore things like that. 

I've seen hate pages on Facebook for the so called "swag fags," and I've tried my hardest to stop these, but they keep coming up. It's ridiculous how hateful people can be. No matter how aware we try to make people of what is going on, it keeps happening. 

The only thing that can really help is getting parents and adults more involved. In all honesty, parents should be involved with their kids in all aspects of their lives. The only person that can really teach a child how to be respectful is their parent. If their was more respect in our society, there wouldn't be so many suicides. 

I just ask that if you have any type of social network, please respectful of others feelings. Seeing someone in pain is the worst feeling ever.
