Homeschool Is Hard

Most of my friends that I have discussed homeschooling with say that it's either stupid or unnecessary. Most people think that public school is the way to go. Partially because you have the opportunity to make more friends. But also because it's easier. Their reasoning, you can cheat off of other people. You'll never fail. This is the exact reason I left public school. Towards the end of my sophomore year, I realized the lack of character and integrity in my high school. I did not want to be consumed by that kind of behavior. So after my junior year had started, I talked with my mother about homeschool as an option. She said it was fine and we started filling out paperwork. By second semester, I was enrolled.
It's a shame to say I wish I didn't enroll. It's not that it's harder or anything, it's that I don't learn the same way as this new school. It's difficult to learn without guidance.
It's been decided that I will return to public school next year. But I won't be going to the same school. I'm always excited to try something new. The fact that it's just school makes it even better. I'm only going to get my credits and then graduate. So I won't e participating in the band like I did the last three years. I will be taking only the 4 necessary core classes and co-op. So then I should only have 4 real classes then get out of school at 1:45 to either do a job or whatever else it is that I will be doing.
I'd love to hear about your school experiences! What is your school like? Do you like it? Would you rather be homeschooled? Let me know. Thanks friends:)
